Unlike the Archibald Prize, Self Portraits on Paper is distinguished by the absence of oversized heads. On the contrary, almost all the artists have agreed to work on the same size sheets (76 x 56 cm), creating a cohesive, dynamic display of close, upfront encounters.

All works will be offered by renowned auctioneer, Andrew Shapiro at 7pm on 17 March, the final evening of the exhibition.

This gala auction will be a great opportunity for collectors and those new to the experience to purchase unique works by some of Australia’s leading contemporary artists. Apart from the thrill of bidding for a prized work, buyers will be happy in the knowledge that all proceeds are going to a worthy cause.

The Bouddi Foundation for the Arts is an organisation founded by legendary Australian actor John Bell to provide annual scholarships and grants to support and encourage young, creative talent across all disciplines from the NSW Central Coast. View the works at www.bouddiarts.org.au
