The Sydney Art Quartet entrances audiences with performances that playfully sidestep routine, cliche and orthodoxy.

The group's debut subscription series included fusion experiences and experiential activations with Gary Heery (photographer), Wendy Sharpe (painter), Alicia Crossley (recorders), Michaela Davies (performance artist), Andrew Batt-Rawden (composer/life model), Clementine Robertson (multi-disciplinary artist), Lyle Chan (composer & activist) and Carlos Huber (perfumier, architect, historian).

Though often travelling further afield, the quartet is the resident ensemble of the historic Yellow House Sydney – the former haunt of renown creatives Brett Whiteley, Martin Sharpe and Peter Weir, among other distinguished company.

The 2016 concert series demonstrated the appeal of the SAQ’s individual approach, with capacity audiences that have been described as the envy of the arts scene.

The Sydney Art Quartet at Yellow House is not to be missed.
